Sarah, Larry and I went to eat at a famous Route 66 landmark, Pops. It is a convenience store, gas station and restaurant. They are famous for their Chicken Fried Steak. We did not eat that, but ordered Buffalo Burgers and Turkey Burgers. It was very good food. We did not sample their pop, but they do have a very large variety of flavors. Out front they have a very large pop bottle that lights up at night in different colors. This is located in Arcadia which is a bedroom community of Oklahoma City. Spring Trips 2013

May 18, 2008 - Getting our kicks!

Today was a leisure day starting with brunch out at one of the locals favorite restaurants (Jimmys Eggs) From brunch we headed out to do some traveling on historic Route 66. Our first stop was 'Pops", home to the worlds tallest soda 'pop' bottle. Inside they must have every kind of soda pop made. The cold cases alone hold over 350 different types of pop (20-30 root beers//20-30 orange etc.). Then it was off down the road to the 'Round Barn".
