Headed out of Michigan next stop Warren, Ohio where I spend the next few days with Dick a old (Ha Ha)submarine buddy. A really great time spent drinking a beer (or was it more) oh well who counting, talking about the time we spent on the old Tullibee a fast attack nuclear submarine (better known to us as a very slow retreat). We took a drive up to Cleveland to check out a WW two diesel sub the USS Cod and the Rock and Roll hall of frame. A cold day with the winds blowing off of Lake Erie back to Dicks place a very good day. A few more...

Jul 21, 2011 - Heading home...the last push East

We left Beloit today with the main aim of getting halfway home. I am happy to report we are now in the Eastern time zone again. We are all looking forward to getting home and back in our own beds. It will be nice for the boys to get some distance between them. I have to say I'm very pleased, overall, with how well they have done together; not a lot of fighting (and no blood or injuries!) Soon we will be at our hotel in Warren, OH, for the night. It will be nice to get out of the car and have a nice meal. Tomorrow we plan to go the final 500...
