After leaving Dolores and Allan in Geneva at Limberlost, I looked for a place to explore instead of going back to camp and decided to go into Ohio to see the bicycle museum. It was about an hour away, but the ride was worth it. See the Quilt Rock I found near the border of Indiana and Ohio! I also saw a reconstructed lock from the Miami & Erie Canal system that linked Cincinnati with Toledo in the mid 1800s. Germans came and built it for very little money and a shot of whiskey a week! Jul 13, 2009 - The Bicycle Museum of America

We had some free time today and chose to head out to the Bicycle Museum of America in New Bremen, Ohio - about 30 miles away. What a great find this little museum was. The museum is the brain child of Jim Dicke II who is the President of Crown Equipment Corporation which is based out of New Bremen. In 1997 he bought a collection of 164 bicycles from the Schwinn Bicycle company - they had filed for bankruptcy and were selling off the collection.
