Posted by Wendy: We avoided the highways during the busy Memorial Day weekend by staying at my sister Lori's house in Ohio. We loved the opportunity to spend quality time with her family, watch one of our nephew's baseball games, see the new Indiana Jones movie at the theater, and eat at one of Ross' favorite pubs in Dayton to enjoy some great sliders (mini burgers). It was nice to have a break from the truck/camper by relaxing in a comfortable home, but after several days the road was calling us and we were eager to set out for more...

Jan 9, 2008 - Trying to Prepare

Alrighty. So there are exactly 34 days left until I leave the country... and I'm 100% not ready. I didn't realize just how much work this was going to be. I'm getting nervous. Thank goodness Mary is going or I would be an absolute disaster. TO DO: -pack -forms -freak out -make some money -see people -leave -freak out some more
