Jul 20, 2011 - We finally get our new fridge!

After Canada we went back to Jackson Center to have the axles aligned and to, hopefully, get our new fridge. We were disappointed after Ken talked to the maintenance folks and was told they hadn't heard any news on the fridge. Later that day we were told that there was still a chance it would get in before our scheduled maintenance appointment on Friday. One time Ken was outside and he got excited when he saw some large items being unloaded only to find out they we skylights. Later that morning the new fridge did arrive. We had to wait...

Jul 5, 2011 - Off to get new fridge

We left the rally intending to go to JC to get a new fridge and to make a long story short, that's what we did. We soon found out that the fridge was not going to work because the door was on the wrong side. We left JC to go to a couple of state parks to wait restfully until the new one arrived. We spent four days at Indian Lake SP. We quickly learned that the cul de sac camp sites are the best and larger than most of the others. Jun 7, 2011 - Alumapalooza and Cleveland Rally

We attended the second annual Alumapalooza held on the grounds of Airstream. It was a great experience and we met many nice airstreamers. We also learned some interesting, helpful things in the workshops. Also we connected up with some Airstream friends. After we left Jackson Center, we spent a few days near Columbus. We then went up to Cleveland, OH for an urban rally at the downtown airport. We were within walking distance of downtown Cleveland, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and other interesting sights. May 11, 2009 - Oh good grief.....

Well.... here we are at the epicenter of Airstreamville. What a lot of fun we are having here. Do not wish you all were here because it is mind-numbing. We have to have a tank replaced so they let us stay here in our own home tonight and tomorrow at 7:00 (!$%#^@%^$!! AM we have to be prepared to spend a night in a motel if they can't get the tank here in time. We are having so much fun. Maybe it would be better if you all were here. Then we could have a potluck in our little "park" (and I use the word loosely) with no tables and no trees...
