Today we visited one of the local Amish farms in Homerville, Ohio. They had a produce sign in the front yard advertising their fresh vegetables. We bought 10 red peppers for only $3.00, a watermelon for $1. A nice sized jar of strawberry rhubarb jam for only $4.50, plus more. Everything we purchased has been delicious. We made stuffed peppers with some of the peppers and froze the rest for later. We also found out about a flea market style auction they have three days a week. We decided to check it out. Sep 9, 2010 - Fishing & Relaxing

We have been in a very relaxed mode. We have been doing a lot of fishing and relaxing. The campground we are staying in has a free fishing pond. It is stocked with bass, bluegill, trout and catfish. One catfish is said to be over 60 pounds. It you catch him you receive a prize. Not sure what that prize will be yet, but will keep everyone posted. The campground only has a few people camping, they will be closing for the winter soon. We are enjoying having the place to ourselves. It has huge grassy sites with 50 amps and a sewer.
