We drove down from Wauseon, Ohio to College Corner, Ohio to camp at Hueston Woods State Park.We wanted to stay a few days and to see some of the EARTHCACHES in the park. This earthcache would take us to the Quarry Pinic area of the park. This was one of the several fossil areas in the state park.We parked our truck and took a short walk down the wooden stairs to the creek.There was never a quarry here,what you see before you is a leg of the Four Mile Creek that starts upstream in many small run-offs from farming land. Jul 31, 2011 - HUESTON WOODS

We left the Mid-west Geobash 2011 in Waueson,Ohio and we wanted to camp for a few days at Hueston Woods State Park. My brother in the 50's would come over to this park to camp with the boy scouts and the when he was older with his friends. They would go camping at the state park and the go into town for some beer. At that time in Ohio you only had to be 18 to buy beer and Indiana it was 21 years of age. I always wanted to visit the town and the park.
