May 21, 2010 - Day 2 - what a day!
What a day! Where to start? At the beginning! The Sweaty Guy: Here we are just trying to eat breakfast in the hotel breakfast bar and some guy comes in from his morning run. He's drenched with sweat but seems to think we want to chat with him anyway! It was all I could do not to get up and move to another table as he hovered over us, dripping sweat and going on about motorcyclists who don't wear helmets! Take your show on the road, buddy! May 20, 2010 - Day 1 - On the road!
Day 1 - I wanted to leave my house at 7 but didn't get going til about 7:30 (I know - you're all surprised). Chris and I had agreed to meet off I80 at Exit 256 - Conyngham, PA. For those of you who don't know I had started planning this trip months ago and put the word out to both HOG clubs and Motor Maids that I was looking for someone to go with. May 18, 2009 - Brooklyn, OH - Visiting Elena's Classmate
(Ron Writing) This morning we left Sandusky, OH heading east on US-6 which runs along the south side of Lake Erie. This was a beautiful drive through several small towns. There are beautiful homes all along this route and it’s difficult to distinguish where one town ends and the next one starts. We were usually in sight of the lake with just one property between the highway and the beach. These are expensive homes on very large lots. It was a very enjoyable drive.
