Monday we rode from Wilmington to Hillsboro, about 55 miles. We will stay two nights in Hillsboro. Tuesday we rode a loop around Hillsboro. I ended up doing only 27 miles due to the hills! I just ran out of steam, or whatever. With 2400+ riders, you have to find space for over 1000 tents. At the county fairgrounds in Hillsboro, tents were pitched everywhere and in some rather strange places. See the pictures. Hillsboro is sure not flat but has some good restaurants and a lot of great people.
