Jul 14, 2011 - Roller Skating Anyone?
This morning me, Mary and Shane drove over to Spirit Lake Casino the other side of Devils Lake to play adult games and have lunch. None of us lost our budgeted amount so I guess that makes us winners. This afternoon most everyone went roller skating, I didn't and I think Mary only went around once but some of the others ended up with a sore tush to show for their perseverance. If you are over forty and you haven't roller skated for years and you weren't to smooth at it back then your skills probably haven't improved, I'd advise sitting on...Jump to full entry
Jul 13, 2011 - Stump Lake
This morning we left for Stump Lake Campground where we plan to meet up with my cousins Maxine & her friend Linda, Ron & his wife Georgia, Jim & his wife Janet, Eileen & her husband Gene, along with some kids & grand kids. Stump Lake is about 200 miles northeast of Bismarck but is only 30 miles from Devils Lake where the family reunion will be at. About half way there we stopped for lunch in Carrington at the Prairie Inn Café for lunch and to pick up a dozen Carmel rolls that seemed to weigh a couple of pounds each.
