Aug 19, 2011 - Repairs
Aug 19 Another nice drive and a trip to Wal-Mart was on my agenda for the day. I needed to find some small bolt and nuts to fix my vent. I found out yesterday when I climbed the ladder to look at the roof to try to find where the water is coming from in rains. Didn’t find that, there just wasn’t anywhere it could be coming from except maybe around the exhaust vent on the sidewall. I will recaulk it as soon as I get the right caulk. Aug 18, 2011 - Train Museum
Aug 18 I visited the North Carolina Transportation Museum today. What a neat spot. Aug 17, 2011 - Visit with Kristen

It was like we had known each other forever and had only been apart for a day, we slipped right back into laughing about the trip from last year and didn’t stop talking for hours. She gave me a tour of her town. The area has been inhabited since the 1600s and there are quite a few beautiful homes from the 17 and 1800s. It amazed me that the homes were so well kept and taken care of. Usually when there are old homes,...

Aug 16, 2011 - Forest Lake
Aug 16 I travelled across South Carolina and North Carolina today on the Interstate. I wish I could have seen more scenery, there were so many trucks on the road I had to pay real close attention to the traffic. It definately gets busier traffic wise the further north I go. I would enjoy this trip a lot more if I could ride rather than drive...I just can't rubberneck like I enjoy doing. I do look around, but it just isn't the same, and no one to talk to... Anyway, this campground, Forest Lake is very lovely. Still hills, but not as steep,...
