November 14, 2012 Leaving Portsmouth, VA to Coinjock, NC - N36:20.925 W075:56.934 Time Left: 8:30 am Temp/Wind: 50/44 Partly Cloudy – N 15 to 15 mph Hi All! We are moving once again…yay! It was determined that our torque limiter on the transmission was broken on Monday. Then we were told that there are no torque limiters in the U.S. We would have to get one from Japan. It might take three weeks to a month. Yikes! Thankfully, we called our friend Luis at Marathon Diesel Repair in Marathon, Florida Keys. Luis said he bought out a Yamaha...

Jun 25, 2010 - Belhaven and Coinjock, NC

Traveling through a myriad of Rivers and Intracoastal Waterway cuts connecting rivers, sounds, bays & marshy areas. We came within miles of Kitty Hawk, Rodanthe, other well known places but we stuck with the little known marinas...Coinjock, where Roger got his fly swatter 20 years ago when he first made this trip. Hey, it's kinda nice here in Coinjock. And they gave him a new fly swatter when he told them his story.
