Thursday We moved on today with only a 58 mile journey to Leroy, this was after taking the RV in for a quick check over on a few things after it had been in storage for 5.5 months. Beautiful campsite which we seem to have a very large area to ourselves but it won’t stay like that for long as it is Columbus Day this coming Monday so it will be very busy. Went into Rochester today about 28 miles from the campground, first stop was “The House of Guitars” counts Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Metallica, Jon Bon Jovi and Ozzy Osbourne as some of their customers. Today the musical mecca in Rochester & calls itself “The World’s Largest Music Store”, 11,000 guitars ranging from $60 to $50,000. Stocks just about every brand of instrument ( if they don’t have it they will order it ). Well guess what after having been in the shop for nearly 2 hours & trying loads of guitars out Wal bought another guitar but...

Oct 12, 2011 - Sodus Bay & Chimney Bluffs State Park

Sunday- Drove up to the Seaway Trail the other side of Rochester to drive to Sodus Lighthouse, the Seaway Trail is the nearest road that runs alongside Ontaria Lake. It was just over 40 miles to the lighthouse , it showed the place where the original one stood. Then onto have lunch sat over looking the lake, got talking to a couple who told us some places to visit in Canada all for another trip.
