Hi everyone: We've been putting in long days and some longer evenings and sometimes we're just too tired to get these Entries out there. Thanks to my good friend Mike Mirkin, I was due to go to the Yankee game at their new stadium on Tuesday evening but a line of severe storms cancelled that. Not wanting to dissapoint me, Mike re-schedulled our great tickets to the following day in the first game of a double header. We both took the A-Train to the Bronx to watch the Bombers win. Aug 31, 2007 - Buying Tickets
We bought our tickets today! Woohoo!! And what a long process that was! We ended up purchasing our first let of tickets through Airtreks.com. Charlie was very helpful as well as patient as we probably changed our route approximately 25 times. We purchased our first Pacific circle which will take us through the South Pacific to South East Asia and then back to California. It certainly seems real now!

Aug 13, 2007 - Yankees win - best game yet!
The Yankees-Orioles game is a night game and so we had the day to explore and adventure in New York City. David and Julie went to the Guggenheim Museum; Matthew and Ron went to the Museum of Natural History and Elizabeth went to the New York City Public Library and then walked up 5th Avenue to meet David and Julie for lunch. It was a beautiful day and so no complaints on the weather or the sights. We met back at the hotel and joined the other Yankee fans on the subway to the Bronx. A point of disclosure.
