Last night I became a Star Gazer. It is very dark at the state park. I wonder if the sky will really look different without light pollution. I am amazed! I have never seen so many stars in the sky. This is a far different sky than I see at home. I sit up front with our passenger seat reclined and stare at the sky. I get the binoculars out. I do not know how long I look at the sky but it is a great show. Today, we take a float trip on the San Juan River. Our fishing guide picks us up at our campsite and takes us to the Texas Hole. Oct 2, 2013 - Navajo Dam, NM

We eat breakfast in the RV. We spend time catching up on yesterday’s postings. By 11:00, we are ready to roll. 11:00? What is happening to us? I have to admit that I am not fully prepared. I start checking distances on the GPS. Our fly shop person told us to stay at Navajo Lake State Park - Cottonwood Division. My Trailer Life says that Cottonwood closed on September 15. I make a call. Do not believe everything you read. I finally have the navigation to Cottonwood worked out. I can now enjoy the ride. I see signs for elk crossings. I ask...
