Aug 6, 2017 - No More Camping

We have been back at our "mesa top hide out" for a week now and sort of enjoyed our 2 week stay at Abiquiu Lake but I doubt we will ever do a 2 week stay anywhere else without having access to a sewer. The campground offers water and 50 amp electric but no sewer. It does have a dump station but if we have to hitch up and move we'll move on down the road. - The campground showers was located right next to our site and I used it during our 2 week stay and for a big part of the time we used the bathrooms there also. ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Jun 21, 2017 - Hotter than Hates, it;s Summertime !!!

Whew, it's hot out. 100 degrees today and not much relief in sight until Sunday. - I'm so glad that our two A/C's can keep up with those kind of temps and as long as it doesn't get much more than what we got we'll be OK. NOT GOOD. Thank God we have a hauler body on our truck because if it were a pick up body the bed...

ON THE ROAD AGAIN

Apr 28, 2009 - Ahhh!!! Northern New Mexico

We left Cochiti Lake about 9 AM and arrived at our destination before lunch. Actually it was a short drive and we took our time and when we got close to our destination I called David, our host, and he met us at the only landmark that we we could recognize, a mile marker along the roadside. We followed him down one road and up the other and across to the mesa top. I want to tell you that was one hard pull for the ole F550, up washboard gravel roads with a 20,000 fifth wheel behind. We made it but it was a chore and it was well worth it. The...
