Jan 9, 2009 - Back in windy New Mexico

After an uneventful and not particularly scenic 245 mile drive across highway 10 we pulled into Leasburg Dam state park. This campground is located about 14 miles north of the city of Las Cruces, New Mexico. We will be staying here for the next four nights and are looking forward to having some authentic New Mexican food. For those of you not familiar with this type of cooking think really good mexican style food complimented by your choice of red or green chile sauce. And of course, there are always the sopapillas with honey for dessert!!
