We tried to leave Tucumcari fairly early to miss the afternoon winds - but the next door neighbor's car wouldn't start so Ron used the pickup to give him a jump. We still were gassed up and on the road by 9 so we didn't do too bad. The trip was uneventful (just the way we like it) and even Albuquerque wasn't bad. The last time we went thru there was a nightmare because of the road construction - but now the road is multi-lane and not bad at all.
