Oct 20, 2006 - a rainy and windy day in the campground

It started raining last night, and poured most of the day. We went to Middletown to watch the new movie by Clint Eastwood, Flags of our Fathers. We came back to the motorhome in time to lower the big awning, the wind is howling and it's very, very cold! Tomorrow we'll move into Penn. State.

Oct 18, 2006 - in Florida !!! - - - - - - - New York that is......

We had decent weather, so we traveled to Florida, New York. Tomorrow we're signed up for a New York City tour, in a van with 9 other people. We'll be gone from 8 am to 6 pm but at least we don't have to drive through that traffic! I took some pictures as we drove through Conn. and into New York State again. We drove across the Hudson River right after going through Danbury, Conn. The fall colors in Conn., and New York are just outstanding, every bit as dramatic as New Englands! We will stay here two nights and try to leave for Washington...

Jul 8, 2006 - Florida, New York

We arrived here yesterday and will stay for 4 days. On Monday we are taking a bus tour to New York City. Today we visited a nearby town and checked out their sidewalk sales and a local winery. Tonight we are going to an outdoor concert of salsa type music. Should be fun.

Jun 25, 2006 - Sussex, NJ

Left Jersey City traveling North on the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95) the West on I-280 to West on I-80 then North on Hwy 15 the North on Hwy 94 to West Beaver Run Rd to South on Big Springs Rd to Beaver Hill Campground. We are staying here a few days for visits to Sussex, Montague, Branchville, Columbia, Oak Ridge, Newton and Andover.

Nov 29, 2004 - Visit with Mark (Hamburg, New Jersey)

Dropped off car (finally got rid of it, yippee!) and stayed with my brother. Picture of my brother and our nephew, Elijah at Thanksgiving a few days before. Elijah was doing back-flips and Mark was catching him. I see bungee jumping or skydiving in his future.
