On the road at 7am, after a 600 mile first day. Smooth sailing to New Jersey, our second stop. We made up the two and a half hours lost by shortening our pit stops, but lost it all to the traffic jams before, during, and after Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD. Still managed to roll in only 1 hour behind time. Not bad! Tomorrow we're off to take the Tappan Zee bridge to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, NY, then Bethel, NY, and final stop at Stockbridge, MA. Jun 18, 2008 - ho hum before the storm
More of the same - Wednesday, June 18 Today was more of the same, getting Madolyn’s hair done and running the seemingly infinite number of errands we have to do to get caught up and ready for the coming week. While Madolyn was getting her hair done I found a free WiFi connection in the parking lot and got on line long enough to check my mail and update this trip journal.
