As the weather has finally begun to warm slightly and I looked forward to be able to do some much-needed outdoor maintenance on my RV, I was greeted by the local zoning officer of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, who informed me among other matters that I am not permitted to park a RV in my driveway. While he has not yet mailed me the letter that will document the particular ordinance I unknowingly violated I am left to wonder what crosses the minds of local officials. Apparently there is some concern that I could be running a business out of it....

Feb 10, 2011 - Continuing to learn the hard way

As I mentioned in my prior post, much of what you read about what new RV owner need to know assume a great deal that should never be assumed. Jan 25, 2011 - Tower of Babel

Tower of Babel As the date draws near for our journey, Jack and I are slowing down, more due to the ravages of age than desire. Jack, well he has a lot of energy, but I on the other hand do not. Several months ago when I initially planed this journey, I created many plans.
