Oct 28, 2006 - Haverstraw farewell

October 27, 2006 Today we took it easy, cauht up on some chores and called some people. In the evening we went to the Haverstraw Elks 'Big Kids Haloween Party', what a hoot that was. Lots of great costumes, Barb was asked to be a judge and Gary took photos and made a CD for the Lodge. We finally got to bed about 3:00am and slept in. October 28, 2006 We got moving late and hit the road about 2:00pm. We made it as far as North Brunswick, New Jersey and will continue on to Philadelphia tomorrow

Sunday-Tuesday, March 26-28, 2006 We are winding up our journey and preparing to head back to Glen Rock in a few days. Steve started washing and waxing the rig while making a list of items Tom needs to take care of before our unit is rented out. The list is short but does include, to Steve's embarrassment, a damaged panel and three broken running lights on the back of the rig. While leveling the RV onto its blocks a few weeks ago, his foot slipped off the brake and onto the accelerator while in reverse. Luckily he backed up into a tree,...
