Feb 16, 2009 - Heading South in Spring 2009

It's time for another extended camping trip. We're on a mission to fill in the gaps on the US map on our trailer door and have decided to fill in the blanks to the south. This trip will also provide an opportunity to experience some sensational coastal areas in state parks along the way to Florida. This trip started with a desire to spend some time with daughter, Cat. Feb 3, 2008 - New Jersey

Here we are at BJ & Sue's back in Mount Holly, NJ. We arrived here about 2:30 this afternoon from Virginia Beach. Came across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel this morning. What a structure. It is actually a series of bridges and tunnels that spans 23 miles. There is a bridge about 7 miles long, hen a mile long tunne, then another 7 mile bridge, another mile long tunnel and finally anothr 7 mile bridge. Dec 30, 2007 - New Years Eve in NJ

Well here we are in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Arrived about 9:30 this morning local time. After a slushy start on the Airline yesterday afternoon, the trip was pretty much uneventful, that is until we hit the heavy traffic on the NJ Turnpike. A stop in Sturbridge, Mass late last night for a few ZZZ's and we were on early this morning (5am). Absolutely no snow here. My cousin, BJ, was raking leaves early this week. New Years Eve will be spent in Pennsylvania at a place called Longwood Gardens. Tour of NYC is planned for Wednesday. Pictures...
