May 3, 2019 - Home again

Well, we made it back home. There have been "adventures" but all in all, it's been a good trip without major difficulties. For those keeping track, we've been gone 232 days. We've set up in 32 different campgrounds. The coach as logged 5730 miles, using 806 gallons of gasoline. Surprise,surprise, the highest prices we paid for gas were in NJ. The lowest were in South Carolina. We've crossed a total of 12 states. Now we can settle in, repair what needs it, pay off the bills, catch up on doctor appointments and all that other fun stuff we get...

Winter2018-2019

Apr 26, 2016 - Back Home

Three hours back up the Parkway and we're at home once again. Marley seems happy to be back in her house and yard. She immediately made a sweep to check for an squirrels taking advantage of her absence. For anyone keeping track, we have been gone for exactly 5 months. We were in 18 different states and added 7 to our map of states we have camped in. We stopped in 47 different campgrounds. We've covered 9028 miles and used 1125 gallons of gasoline to do so. Nov 26, 2015 - Thanksgiving Day

Almost ready for the trip, but first, spending the Holiday with family. We got to spend some time with Liz and Kevin, Mike and Casey, John and Janet, Linda and Lou, and Chris. It was a good day and a good dinner and then back home to finish the packing

Apr 7, 2015 - Garwood, NJ

We left Virginia Beach yesterday and traveled to Frontiertown Campground in Berlin, MD. This was a 148 mile trip up the Eastern Shore. We traveled US-13 over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and then up through the farm country of the DelMaVa peninsula. We chose to stop at Frontiertown to give us a good jumping off point to catch the early ferry between Lewes, De and Cape May, NJ. We're about an hour away and the crossing we wanted to make departs at 8:15 so it was an early wake up. Marley and I walked down along the water but we didn't see...
