May 27, 2011 - We Found a New Hobby (maybe)
Sue and I were introduced to geocaching when we were in North Carolina over Easter. For the uninformed, geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using a GPS or maybe a smart phone. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. The caches contain small objects like toys, medallions, etc. and usually a log to sign to record who has found it. It looks like geocaching is very compatible with RV travel. May 26, 2011 - Short Trip to NJ
We're going over to New Jersey for the week end to go to Vintage Sports Car Races and Air Show at the Millville Airport. I used to work at the airport in the late 80's at a company called Airwork. They appear to be out of business these days, so it was good move when I left in 1989. We'll be heading up to Riverside for the "big" parade on Monday and to see Sue's dad.
