Aug 25, 2012 - We're home!
After a warm night, no extra blankets needed, we woke to a beautiful sunny morning. Grandpa made some eggs to go with the Amish cinnamon buns that he bought yesterday, and we ate our last campsite meal for awhile. The kids agreed that they would like to go camping again, but maybe for only one week. Three weeks away from home is a long time, but we are proud of how well they did. The camper was ready for traveling before we knew it. Grandpa and Nana have been doing less and less each day. We were on our way by 10:45. It feels like a hot day...

Jul 3, 2012 - Our first day out
We began our adventure today! We left Weare, NH at 1:00 under sunny skies. We traveled west to Vermont, south through Massachusetts and arrived in Southbury, CT at 5:00. We parked in Lisa's sister's front yard. Very nice accommodations!! We enjoyed a wonderful evening with her sister and brother-in-law. Then spent our first night of the trip in the camper. Finally our long awaited trip has begun!!

Oct 6, 2008 - Tiffin New Hampshire Rally
The Fall Foliage Rally was held at Cold Springs Camp Resort in Weare from October 6-9. We went up on the day before to enjoy some quiet time in camp. Plans were for Nancy and Bill to attend as well but sadly Nancy's mom was ill. The campground was wooded with level campsites. Leaves were just starting to turn and got more colorful as the week went on. The group meetings were in a pavilion with roll down sides and portable heaters. A little chilly in the evenings.
