Sep 10, 2012 - Loudon, New Hampshire
We have arrived back in Loudon, for the second time this year. There isn't a NASCAR race here this week, so Cascade Campground is very different from the last time we were here. It is very quiet, and there are few campers. We met up with Dennis and Ellen and headed out to do some shopping. We wanted a new digital television for the bedroom. Dudley ate the remote control for our digital box, and it didn't make sense to replace it. We had to drive to Salem, as it was the closest Best Buy that had the model we wanted. We enjoyed dinner out,...

Jul 15, 2012 - Race Day
What a weekend! Tim and I watched part of the Nationwide from Tommy Logano’s coach, and some of the Cup race from Joey’s coach. What a rush. Our hot passes got us in the infield, but we were treated royally by the Loganos. We stood between Coach Joe Gibbs and Tommy for the national anthems, beside Joey and his car. Check out the pictures and you’ll see Coach Gibbs signing my hat. It was the an out of this world weekend. Thanks Tim

Jul 14, 2012 - Day 1- The Practice
Tim and I headed to the track , with our credentials in hand, to watch the practice. Our garage hot passes were great. We hovered in the garage close enough to touch the cars as they drove by us to go out on the track. I forgot to take ear plugs, a big mistake as the cars roared by us. The temperatures are unbelievable. Air temp at the track was 95, with a track temp of 135. We were roasting! This afternoon we are going back to the track to watch the Nationwide race. Hopefully we will find a parking spot.

Glenna and I drove east to Loudon this morning. We took a beautiful, back road drive from New York to Vermont and then New Hampshire. We are now camping at Cascade Campground, about nine miles south of the speedway. It is very hot and dry here. Friends Dennis and Ellen are spending the summer here, visiting their daughter and her family . Tim and Gal have rejoined us this afternoon, so we are off to the races!

Nov 2, 2010 - New Hampshire Motor Speedway
Wow where does the day go. I was up and at’em by 8 this morning. I worked on a few things on line and was in the shower by 12:30. Had lunch and headed out of here for Concord by 1pm. I stopped in at New Hampshire Motor Speedway to see what they offered. A very friendly place they told me to ho on in to the track and look at what ever I wanted to. It really is a track with long straight-a-ways and tight turns. It is kind of all out in the middle of no where but not far from a couple good size towns. Lots of empty parking lots stretch along...
