Saturday, November 26, 2011 It was cold last night (25 degrees), but the sun was shining on the motor home, so the outside temperature was 40 degrees when I got up at 7:45. I took the time to write yesterday’s update and begin this one as I enjoyed my cup of coffee. I’ll pull the satellite dish away and we will head south towards Pahrump, in nice sunny weather. We left the spot at 8:45, and drove at a leisurely pace (60 mph), even though the speed limit is 70, as there was no traffic and going slower helps with the gas mileage. I stopped...

From Carson City we continued south towards Death Valley gong in out out of Nevada and California along the route. There were a few passes ranging up to 6,000ft (2000m) but no problem. The coach runs like a champ since we had the turbo fixed. Landscape was amazing, Creeks, mountains, desert, winding roads, snow and lakes. everything you can imaging. Temperatures still in the 90's but cooling down at night. Fuel Management becomes an issue here. No gas stations for hundred of miles or not suitable for us. Restaurants seem to be rare as...
