Sandhills make good habitat for a variety of life - Friday, August 21 A lot of animals love this grass. Valentine, Nebraska may be famous for it’s beef, but the Sandhills that surround it are also good habitat for bison, elk and deer, not to mention prairie dogs and prairie chickens and a host of other living things.
