Sunday June 20th we left Sparks, NV and drove to Winnemucca, NV to spend a couple of days. The first day we just hung around the park and relaxed. We had a fairly nice trip but when we arrived the car battery had died, so took care of that with help of the park owner & his son. Second day we ventured into town to look for a post office and do some shopping at Wal Mart. Our primary purchase was a new GPS since our old one died on the way into Winnemucca. Sunday, October 5, 2008 While staying in Greenwood, Nebraska we visited Boys Town, the National Museum of Roller Skating, and Fort Atkinson State Historical Park. We also did some antiquing. Before helping to hook-up the car, I took some pictures of the drying of the corncobs still on the stalks. There was a cute little rabbit hopping around the area.
