Bridgeport, NE We are back in Nebraska but are only passing through on our way to Colorado. While in the state, we are making a few stops in the Passports and Parks programs. One of our stops is Toadstool Geologic Park. The park is named after its unusual rock formations, many of which resemble toadstools. We set off on the loop trail with a guide book to help us. Jul 9, 2009 - Courthouse and Jail Rocks

Traveling with a RV Travel Trailer is a little different than traveling in a car. The nice thing was that we could stop along the road and cook our meals, saving money and taste buds by not eating monotonous American highway restaurant food. One of the down sides was speed. I started off only driving between 55-60 miles per hour. But this made me feel like I was back in the 1980's and by the end of the trip I was pushing the speedometer to 65-68 miles per hour.
