We left Coram, Montana drove 264 miles to the Lewis and Clark Caverns SP in Whitehall, MT. We will spend 3 nights here before moving on to Yellowstone, NP. After getting setup we popped a cold one and enjoyed the view setting on the Jefferson River and foothills all around us very nice park. (we had a visitor that came out from under the MH and climbed a tree. He looked very much like a Rattle Snake but did not have the rattle, found out it was a bull snake). Oct 11, 2010 - Steve's Ranch
The rain hitting on the trailer roof was music to my ears this morning, snuggled under the cover, but I noticed that the heater was not running. Opps, need to change propane tanks, an outside activity. While outside I recalled that we had planned on hunting pheasant today, the rain was no longer music. Steve’s ranch is south of Whitehall, west of our current location. Fortunately by the time we reached the ranch, skies were clear and hunting was great. May 30, 2009 - Day 31 Whitehall Camp
today, day 31 we drove from butte to whitehall. met sarah and bill smart, drove in the mountain vally to silver star for lunch, then on to virginia city, ennis and to bear claw rest., for dinner. as you can see from the photos, bill and sarah and looking great!
