Oct 8, 2010 - Hiding out in NW Montana

We are spending three nights with our friend Randy near the small town of Trout Creek in NW Montana. I don't know if we will have adequate Internet access to post the journal from this remote area and will more than likely have to get caught up with all of you when we arrive in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho on Monday. I look forward to telling you all about this beautiful part of Montana on Monday..........................

Sep 12, 2008 - Trout Creek, MT

Glad to be on our way, we are headed to the northern tip of Idaho (within 74 miles of the Canadian border) and then into the big sky state of Montana. The scenery is much the same as yesterday until we crossed into Montana. By the time we reached our destination of Trout Creek we were surrounded by beautiful mountains. The rv park is called Trout Creek RV Park. It was small, very well maintained with beautiful grassy parking pads. No gravel here. As a Passport America park, the nights stay was only $11.50. Sure wish we could spend some time...

Sep 2, 2007 - Patty's nephew gets married in Spokane, WA

After Yellowstone, we stopped in my mother's birthplace, Anaconda MT, for a little tour, then into Trout Creek for some fishing (we got skunked). The big event in Spokane was the wedding of Eric to Adrienee in my sister's yard in the country. It was beautiful!
