We work our way northwest. Route 135 takes us from Saint Regis to Route 200. It is definitely a scenic byway. Route 200 takes us west to Noxon. It is a nice ride. We follow the Clark Fork River. We go through small towns. At Thompson Falls, we check out the Thompson Falls State Park. We have our park pass. We see a campground, a boat ramp and some hiking trails. We continue on. Jul 24, 2012 - Cedars Road Trip

Today Frank & Linda planned another drive of western Montana to a destination about 160 miles away. The route took us through the amazing scenery of the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness. We read the sign at the pull off which said: The peaks you are viewing are within the Cabinet Mtns Wilderness. This 94,272 acre wilderness is approx. 34 miles long and varies from ½ to 7 miles wide.
