This post may not appeal to everyone, but we really enjoy these photos of the 2011 spring flowers as we moved from Texas to the northwest and along the northern states. These are 33 of 88 photos. News From the Road

Jul 23, 2011 - Glacier National Park - Montana

Wow... Glacier Park was wonderful. The snows this year were 175% more than normal and the Road to the Sun, which passes through the park, did not open until July 13th.! Even then there was a lot of reconstruction going on that cause 20 min delays. However, while we stopped on a hair pin turn a small herd of mountain goats came down the slope to lick the salt along the side of the road and came right up to us. At the same spot marmots were playing along side. I broken up the photos into vistas, water features, critters along the way, and...
