We had one day left on our vacation, and it was going to be a long one. We were going to drive out of Yellowstone, back across the Beartooth Highway, past Billings to Hardin, Montana for the annual reenactment of Custer’s Last Stand. It was to be our longest driving day, 270 miles, and would turn out to be long in more ways than one. We drove back across Dunraven Pass and sure enough saw another grizzly.
