Aug 4, 2018 - Chester MT – Chester City Park

Spent several days here in Roger’s home town. Got to see his aunt, Maxine, sister, Elayne, her husband, Mark, nephew Justin, his wife, Ashley and daughters Emma, Lily and Bela. It was really great seeing them again. Maxine is 92 and as spry as ever. She works on her garden, house and yard every day. We all got together at “Spuds” one evening for dinner and to catch up. We didn’t get to see Chad and his family this trip as they live 50 miles from town and it just didn’t work out. Hopefully, we’ll get together the next time we pass through....

May 16, 2015 - Chester MT - Roosevelt Service Station RV Park

Mark told us to come back so the farmers would get enough rain for their crops. Weather aside (we weren’t sure we were as pleased about it as Mark and Justin), we had a great visit. Met our new great-nephew, Flint, who is really growing and got to visit with Ty, (great-nephew) and Emma and Lily (great-nieces). They are all growing since the last time we saw them....

Aug 18, 2014 - Chester MT - Roosevelt Service Station RV Park

We had a wonderful time in Chester visiting Elayne and Mark (sister & brother-in-law), Justin and Ashley (nephew & wife), Chad and Stephanie (nephew & wife), great-nieces Emma and Lily, great-nephew Ty, Rog’s Aunt Maxine and Jeannean (niece), her husband, Scot and daughter, Taylor. One day, we went down to Tiber Dam for lunch at the marina. The lake, Lake Elwell, is beautiful, but rumor has it that it is also known as the “Dead Sea” because the fishing isn’t too good. Since we have a freezer full of fish from North and South Dakota, we...
