Ninepipes Museum is named after Chief Joseph Ninepipes, a Bitterroot Salish Chief. On display are early photos, artifacts & antiques representing more than a century of life on the Flathead Indian Reservation & in Montana. The museum was established in 1997, Pete & I got a chance to meet Bud Chief (the individual who designed & built the museum). Bud Chief also owns most of the artifacts on display & took the time to tell us how he acquired them. A very interesting guy.
