We have toured Wall, SD and Karen has experienced Wall Drug. We were here for two days so that we could do the Badlands National Park one day and then see Wall Drug the next day. The Sleepy Hollow RV park is a nice park with fairly level sites that have full hookups and cable. The park is in town and only 2 blocks from Main St. We got up Monday and went to Wall Drug. For those that have not been there, it is a tourist destination that is on Main Street of Wall, SD. The downtown area is only 2 blocks long and Wall Drug takes up 1/2 of it....

Oct 8, 2010 - Brodus MT

I have been missing my mid morning soft serve cone from Dairy Queen. The only Dairy Queen I have seen this far north was at Keystone SD,which was closed for the season. The sign claiming the best milkshake in the World definitely caused me to apply the breaks. The day was completed when I smelled fresh cookies will waiting for the shake. Turns out Scruffy like chocolate chip better than sugar cookies.

May 31, 2008 - Devils Tower and The Little Big Horn

Wednesday morning we said good bye to the Black Hills of South Dakota as we headed over to Wyoming on route (16) into the Equality State, bet you didn’t know that little gem of info. The drive over to the Devils Tower was nothing but beautiful. Or plan was to just do a drive by, of the Devils Tower, neither one of us had any intention of climbing the monolith and we didn’t need anymore tourist trap entertainment. May 24, 2008 - Wyoming

Day 7 - Hallelujah! The sun came out just as we were leaving Custer State Park, which is a wonderful place. The State Game Lodge served as Calvin Coolidge's summer White House, and we ate a couple of very tasty meals in the dining room! As we left the park, we decided to drive the wildlife loop once again in search of the elusive buffalo. This time the gods were smiling on us - and the buffalo were roaming!! Onward to Wyoming and Devil's Tower. The closer we got, the nastier the weather became, but we could see the tower in the distance and...
