Today we visited the Watkins Woolen Mill Historic Site. This National Historic Landmark is the only 19th century American woolen mill with its original machinery still intact. This was a fascinating place that I really enjoyed. With my history of raising sheep and wool it was really fun to see how it was done a century ago and how not that much has actually changed.
