Sep 27, 2006 - Marilyn reaches a new level of biking fitness

This was the first challenge as time and spacing of lodging dictated that Marilyn stretch out of her comfort level of biking a few times this vacation. Before this trip, Marilyn's longest day's miles was 51. This was accomplished February of 2005 on a supported tour. That was a hilly day, but our load was light. Yesterday, she equaled that distance with a very heavy load, but with the only hills being the last 5 miles. TANDEM TRIP 06

May 2, 2006 - Lost Valley Lake Resort

We pulled into Lost Valley Lake Resort for a little R&R and visits with our daughter and the grandkids. The next day, some big storms rolled through. Lots of wind and rain, but no damage. We went into Hermann and had dinner with our daughter and the boys, after which we went to the high school for a Choir Concert. Our grand-daughter had a small solo part.
