Headed out in the pouring rain again and got to the Carriage dealer about 10:00. The dealer got the slide fixed in about an hour, two new pins and an hours labor. $50 bucks, not to bad. Now Leadington is only about 20 miles from Bob and Janet Seabaugh's. We gave them a call and they asked us to come on down. We went on down to Bob and Janet's. Went to dinner at the Elks Lodge in Farmington and met Janet's sister Shirley and her husband Roger. 10/18 Got a tour of Seabaugh's Furniture and Appliance store in Fredricktown, MO. We left at a leisurely retiree's 10am and drove until dark. Usually we picnic for lunch and I prepare a wholesome meal of fat free yoghurt, fruit, and sandwiches with a sliver of lunch meat (poor Ken) and we enjoy the fresh air at a rest area picnic table. Foggy temps in the mid 40's made this an unappealing prospect and our intrepid driver brought us to Culver's, the home of the butterburger.
