Saturday, May 21, 2011 VIKINGS IN OKLAHOMA This morning, we left from Big Cedar, OK and took the highway over the saddle. Jim was sort of wondering about the climb and the descent with the motorhome and the toad. It all went very well. 5 miles up and 5 miles down, it took about 15 minutes and saved 60 or 70 miles to drive around the mountains. We traveled on a bit further and stopped at Heavener State Park to see the Runestone. All of the informative signs tell the reader the evidence of Vikings in Oklahoma.
