May 2, 2011 - Remembering my parents

My mother and father spent hours everyday in this park. Daddy fished and Mom fed the ducks and geese. The local newspaper did several photos and articles about the ducks and geese and invariably my parents were mentioned. Dad was always the first fisherman in the spring. On this day we spread their ashes in the old waterworks lake. Mom was placed by the bench and Dad was placed around the bend where a fishing lure was caught in a tree. Sep 28, 2007 - Moberly, Mo - Day 1

September 28, 2007: 178 miles, From Cameron, Missouri to Moberly, Missouri. Ate some "free" breakfast in our motel room while watching a little "Bob" on the TV. Sandy looked out the rear motel window and spotted a Walmart next door, with a tire and lube department. Had Walmart fix the flat, change the oil (to synthetic Mobil 1) and filter and install two new wiper blades. Then, as Willie sings, "On the Road Again . . . May 26, 2005 - Columbia, MO

We are heading north to Columbia, MO tomorrow. We had plan on going to Hannibal, but with the holiday coming up, all the campgrounds there were already booked. We'll stay at the Cottonwoods RV Park through the holiday. It doesn't appear that they have Internet access, so we might not be able to send an update until next week sometime.
