Oct 12, 2006 - Gateway Arch

Thursday, October 12, 2006 This day was extremely windy but sunny. The temperature was in the low fifties. The wind did not stop us from going to the Gateway Arch. We did not get lost on our way there and we easily found a parking spot. The Arch is VERY big! We blew into the entrance and went through security. With our Golden Age National Parks Pass we paid only 50% of the price. We took the small tram to the top. Two young women from Washington D.C. rode with us. They were in St. Louis for a seminar. The tram does not have any windows...

Apr 15, 2006 - Back to Mexico

After a nice visit to our new home state, it's back to Mexico to get some things done on the truck, tie up some loose ends and get ready for our southern trip with the Coles. There probably won't be any entries for awhile, but don't forget to check back soon.

Mar 18, 2006 - Sell your house and live fulltime in a RV! Why in the world would you want to do that?

OK, now you sound like our kids! Sorry guys! First a little history. In a couple of weeks, I (Paul speaking) will be retiring after working for forty years as a medical laboratory technologist. It has been my dream for several years now that when I retire, I want to be able to explore some of the sites our great country has to offer. What better way to do this than in our own RV? My loving wife, Janet agreed, so we bought our home on wheels, a 2005 Excel Fifth Wheel with 4 slideouts. We put the house on the market and it actually sold...
