As we continued our trip through east Kansas the scenery was much the same until we got closer to Missouri. Wheat and corn fields. As we got closer to Missouri there were small hills and more green grass and trees. We RV park we picked was near a small town. We were not very happy with the park to begin with. They first assigned us a site the camper would not even fit on. It was too short and extremely close to a tree on one side and a small dog-house type building on the other. Even after making them move us to another site everything...

2010 Summer Trip

Jun 23, 2007 - Lake Paradise Camping Resort, Lone Jack MO, Elev 968 ft

Arrived in Lone Jack MO this afternoon. It is very hot to us. 90° right now with high humidity and we're hoping for it to cool down for the evening. Another state on the map! We're just east of Kansas City, drove by the Kansaa City Chief's football stadium. Very impressive. We can actually see Paradise Lake from our coach. Leaving tomorrow morning for Linn Valley Kansas. That should be a warm one too.
