Apr 29, 2012 - A Very Nice Lebanon Stay with Friends.
We had planned a 5 night stay in Lebanon and parked in Linda and Joe’s driveway. We had emptied the 2 waste tanks and filled the water tank in preparation for the stay. We have a 20 amp plug in from the house to keep the batteries charged and will use the inverter or generator if needed. We actually stayed 6 nights and did fine with the waste tanks. It helps when you shower and eat in the house, no gray water in the tank! We did have some morning coffee in the coach while Ed worked and Judie was on the computer. We never ran the generator...

Apr 7, 2012 - One more day til Branson!
Holy Saturday 2012 It was only a ½ day drive from St. Charles to Lebanon, but the landscape (and other things!) changed a lot. It’s still very green, but no more flat farmlands. Instead, it’s rolling hills, hard wood forests, and rocky formations forming small cliffs by the side of the road. And, along with the hills, here comes the decrease in gas mileage -- 2 miles per gallon less when we are going up and down. Sigh. . . Sorry to hear about the death of Thomas Kinkade. I wasn’t particularly fond of his paintings, but did enjoy seeing the...

Sep 12, 2011 - Navigating St. Louis
After our experience in Indianapolis, we got brave today and (rather than take the lengthy bypass) decided to drive straight through the city. We had been warned that this is tough to do and come out on the side of the city you desire. So with maps in hand, GPS going full tilt, we navigated a bewildering series of off-ramps, on-ramps, highway changes, stay left, stay right, etc., etc. And we did it! Coming out on Interstate #44 right as planned. Anne managed to sneak in one shot of the famous ST. Louis Arch, which really is an impressive...

Jul 8, 2011 - The Adventure Has Started!
After the Family part of the trip was successfully completed with lots of fun and laughter, we headed to Lebanon, MO, to meet Michael and Andrea Farmer. We chose a RV Park just off I-44 that was easy to find. The Happy Trails RV Park was really great with nice tall trees and lots of green grass. And the temperature when we arrived was 84 at 1:30PM! With a gentle north breeze it was a great first stop. Michael and Andrea arrived about 2:15PM and we visited before a nice dinner and then a walk around the park.

May 11, 2011 - Lebanon, MO
No pictures, we are in travel mode. Drove from Tahlequah,OK to Lebanon, MO today and checked into a dump RV Park, cheap, but has great 50 AMP power and WiFi. So I am good. Susan is napping. The first time we stop for more than one night we will explore and post some pictures. Truck and trailer are flawless.

Nov 4, 2010 - Lebanon, the Lake and Great Friends
What a nice trip and beautiful weather as we headed to Lebanon, MO. on Friday. We found a Mexican restaurant in Arkansas which was excellent, to our surprise and delight! Then, back to the road, and on to Linda and Joe’s. It was Ed’s goal to get there before dark, and, we watched a beautiful sunset as we were about five miles from the house. But, with flashlights and lots of talk, we were unhooked and enjoying home-made chili in no time. Sat. we drove up to the Lake of the Ozarks to have lunch on the Lake with Linda, Joe, Jim and Margi....

May 1, 2010 - Bennett Springs State Park
We are now at Bennett Springs State Park and this is my first attempt to use this site for broadcast so it may be brief and low quality. But then ..... So far we have been to Bandera, TX for our yearly Bluebonnet Casita Rally. We took the Willow City Loop for viewing bluebonnets. It was just beautiful. On to Arkansas to visit my sister and nephews and their families. At Bennett Springs we were scheduled for fly-casting lesson yesterday but the lesson was cancelled due to stormy weather in the area. Today at 1:30 we are rescheduled but there...

Apr 20, 2010 - Lebanon, Special Friends and Memories
Ed’s computer became quite ill Friday morning, so a side trip to Best Buy in Springfield was in order. They were great, putting his problem before others, so we could get back on the road. We rested in the trailer while they repaired it in about 2 hours. We arrived in Lebanon in the late afternoon and settled in very quickly. It was great to see Linda and meet Joe, her husband. Had a nice home-cooked meal and met the new horses, Carrie the Doberman and the three cats. Toby is so-o-o excited!! Actually, both Toby and Joy are elated to be...
