Aug 3, 2010 - Day 51

Drove from Terre Haute, IN to Jonesburg, MO. We made a detour to the Lincoln Log Cabin Historic Site in Lerner, IL. What a museum. If you’re ever in the area of Charleston, IL be sure to take a trip to this Site. I thought the worst traffic would be on the east coast. Nothing could be worse than the traffic in St. Louis! Glad to be out of there.

May 21, 2009 - Jonesburg, MO

We spent another 7 hours on the road today with 1 rest stop. I took a picture of the oil rig at the rest stop because it made a sound like a gun going off every few minutes. And the smell. . . The boys were excited to go swimming when we pulled into the camp site. The picture of the campsite doesn't show it, by it was a tight squeeze getting into the spot.
