Jul 21, 2018 - It was a beautiful day today!

Today was a great surprise and an even greater relief! The temperature was more normal and the hills were pretty much like normal hills, a non event! The hills did roll up and down all day long, some more up than down, but they were all absolutely within our ability without killing ourselves! And the temperature, back in the normal range of about 80 something degrees and a lovely breeze! It was a great day! Jun 28, 2017 - Day 54 - Marshfield to Houston, MO

Today’s endeavor was a wonderful, flowerful, up and down Missouri hills, 66-mile ride with 4,011’ of ascent. Houston, population 2,078 at elevation 1,165’, was founded in 1857 and named for Sam Houston. Houston is in Texas County, Missouri. Today in a Nutshell After my usual biking breakfast of oatmeal with flax seed, almond milk, banana, raisins, walnuts and strawberries, I started out on my course.
