Day 40 Home, House Springs, Missouri We left Oak Grove, MO at 9 am. We'll make it home this afternoon. We could see how cloudy it was to the north of us. We thought we'd be driving in the rain for part of the day. Well, that didn't happen. We came to areas where we could tell it had rained a lot along I-70. But the most we got was a few drops here & there. Missouri has a varied terrain along I-70 it can be as flat as Kansas in some places and then have rolling hilly areas just as quickly.There are lots of trees and scrubby areas...it's...

Jun 10, 2010 - We're off....again

Tomorrow we head out.... We have been cleaning and packing and fixing for the last week. We've really worn ourselves out....but we're so excited to get on the road again. Tomorrow we are going to Downstream Casino in Quapaw, OK. We are meeting my sister & brother-in-law, Helen & Henry, there. They are staying at the hotel and we're going to the RV Park at the casino. I hope.....we are going to the RV park. It is a first come, first served place and you never know if you'll be able to get in. Bye for now...I'm ready to rest for the evening ;-)

Jul 23, 2009 - We Leave In The Morning :-)

We got our RV back from the reapir shop on Monday. It is travel ready but will need to go back for some cosmetic repairs when we get home. We have spent the week packing and cleaning. Wow, that's a lot of hard work. It seems to take as much work to get ready for a 10 day trip as it does for a 4 month trip. Well, almost :-)

January 1, 2009 House Springs, MO Happy New Year Everyone..... What a wonderful year we had last year... It was a dream come true. I look forward to doing more traveling in the future, that's for sure. Oct 15, 2008 - Going Home

October 15...Montauk State Park---Salem, MO To House Springs, Missouri Wow, this is our last day of our wonderful trip. The trip that we have planned for years. It has turned out pretty good. Sure we had our bad weather, hot & cold. We had beakdowns of equipment, flat tires and unexpected expenses. We are broker then we had planned to be while taking this trip and had to do without some of the activities and eating out we had hoped to do (thanks to the money we spent rehabing a house the year before we left....& then the thing wouldn't...

Jun 1, 2008 - We're Almost Ready To Go

Monday, June 1......from Home---House Springs, Missouri We finally have made plans to leave on June 10. I'm so excited! Joe's parents have sold their house and have moved to their new condo. The Rehab House is still for sale....but we've figured out a way to go and have this taken care of. Our first great-grandchild Hailie has arrived :-) She is such a cutie.....
